The essence of competition is to make an environment of fair business for all. It produces gains for the whole economy and promotes consumer sovereignty. Founded in October 2003, the current mandate of the Competition Commission of India is to create awareness about competition issues among businesses and other sectors of economy, in the administrative machinery and functionaries, academics, consumers and other stakeholders.

The commission organizes workshops, conferences, seminars and publishes articles with a view to bring about greater understanding of various aspects of competition among different stakeholders before the provisions of the Act regarding inquiry into anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance, and regulation of combinations are notified and enforced. This section lists articles, presentations and speeches by senior CCI officials and Competition experts from various sectors.
